YOUR KIT contains two bladders and covers, two tracks, a pump, four cleats and the necessary hardware and line. |
|
INSTALL CLEATS. Position one cleat about 6" from the stern corner and another 88 inches forward. Repeat on other side. Screw them to place on the inside of the rail using the stainless screws provided with an appropriate bedding compound. |

MOUNT TRACKS The tracks should be mounted midway between the cleats, at the waterline. If your boat has a hard chine put them there.

INSERTING
NEW BLADDERS IN TUBES. Fold the bladders lengthwise in thirds, valve side up. Starting opposite the valve end, with the valve stem depressed and locked in the open position, roll the bladder tightly until you are about 2 feet from the valve end. |

Lay out cover with the access opening on the up side. Hold the access open and insert the rolled tube into it as far as you can. Push the roll into the cover until the valve is pulled inside the access and is centered in the opening. Keep the valve centered and push the roll in to take up any slack. Turn roll so it can unroll into cover. Now close the valve stem and inflate. The bladder will unroll by itself filling the cover completely. |

ATTACH DINGHY DOGS. With valve toward the boat, slide flap edge into channel. Tie a figure eight stop knot in one end of the line provided and insert the free end through the center of the cleat from inside out. Pull the free end of the line through the grommet in the end flap of the Dinghy Dogs® cover, pull tight to the rail and tie off to cleat. Cut off excess and repeat for the remaining ends of the Dinghy Dogs®. |

Dinghy Dogs® can be left on for the season. To store, deflate (push in and turn the center stem to lock open), remove Dinghy Dogs®, rinse thoroughly inside and out, allow to dry. Protect the covers with a vinyl protective such as Armorall® before storing. Bladders may be left in covers. Dinghy Dogs® work best when the bow ends are kept high. Be sure to keep them tied snug to the rail of your dinghy. When new, Dinghy Dogs® might crease when first installed especially on a curved boat, This will lessen as they are warmed by the sun. It will not affect their performance in any way. Keep Dinghy Dogs® very firm. Please Don’t Overload Your Boat. Dinghy Dogs® are not meant to override the Coast Guard capacity rating for your boat. |
